Here are suggested starting-point broadcast spreader settings for our most popular products—think of them as flexible guidelines, not strict rules. Lower-cost spreaders can drift slightly from factory calibration, so always use these as a baseline, test on your own lawn, and fine-tune as needed.

Drop Spreader Settings:
If you are using a drop spreader, such as Scott's Classic Drop Spreader, and a Yard Mastery granular fertilizer, set your spreader to 7.
