How to Attach Lights to Shingles

To attach clips to your roof in areas where you do not have gutters and instead need to attach your lights directly to the shingles, we recommend using the Elite Clips. These are the same clips that you are going to use to attach your lights to the gutters.

To attach these to your shingles, you will insert just the "bent" part of the clip that you see on the right hand side of the clip above. You don't need to force or jam them far under the shinge, just that small bit will keep your light secure and won't damage the roof. 

These will orient the bulbs upward. They also allow you to keep you spacing uniform to match the gutter light spacing.
