Custom length extension cords are a game changer for a clean-looking Christmas display and they are super simple to make. Here are the 3 parts you will need to create your extension cords: Zip Wire (comes in a 250 foot spool), Male Slide Plugs, and Female Slide Plugs.

In the video, you will also see Allyn install Inline (Vampire) Plugs. These can clip on anywhere along your extension cord or a string of lights so that you can get power to another string of lights or another cord from anywhere along the roof line. This strategy is going to limit the amount of wires that you need around your roof in order to get power to every light. Keeping it clean and classy!
